Exporting 201: The Financial and Legal Aspects of Exporting

Exporting or getting ready to sell goods or services overseas? How do you make sure you get paid?

The Fairfax County Economic Development Authority, First Citizens Bank and the Williams Mullen law firm will conduct a workshop on the financial and legal aspects of exporting.

This workshop is specifically designed to serve companies that are considering international markets and companies that already are exporting goods or services. Expert panelists from First Citizens Bank and Williams Mullen will discuss include topics such as letters of credit, how to get paid, legal protections and government regulations. The event is being held at Teqcorner in Tysons Corner.

There is no cost to attend the workshop, but pre-registration is required. Early registration is encouraged since space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information, contact Jessica Lepe at jlepe@fceda.org  or 703-790-0600.

Note: Workshops and seminars will be canceled when Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) announces delays or cancels classes due to inclement weather. FCPS announces delays or cancellations on its Web site, www.fcps.edu, and on local television and radio stations.
